The ugly duckling
Our concerts “on the go” are some of the most popular offers from Ohrenauf! – »Ears wide open!« However, at present we have had to suspend them due to the Corona crisis. But there is a substitute: the Ugly Duckling programme based on Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale is now presented as afilm by our violinists Anna Heygster and Jana Andraschke, together with actress Mareike Marx – a film to join in and sing along!
When the last duckling hatches from its egg, it looks down and is forced to notice that it looks completely different from its yellow, fluffy siblings – namely, grey and ugly. The duckling resolves to fly away and sets out on a journey. It meets other animals, finds a friend – and in the end does return home again.
