For people with and without hearing impairments

»Without words« – a concert in which everything is conveyed through atmosphere and body language. Young dancers and a deaf performer use fast moves, creativity and expressive sign language to show that music by Mozart & Co can be transported into the present day. Music knows no barriers – here it becomes visible, tangible and danceable.

A Deaf Performance combines elements of German Sign Language (DGS), drama and dance to create a unique form of artistic expression. In this way, the melodies, rhythms and emotions of a musical work are brought to life for hearing people as well as for deaf and hard-of-hearing people.

If spoken German is used, it is translated into German Sign Language (DGS).

To ensure that the music can also be felt physically, we provide balloons through whose vibrations the music’s vibrations can be felt.
