For Seniors

Travel Concerts for Seniors

The Gürzenich Orchestra plays music for everyone, including those who can no longer attend regular concerts. With its chamber ensembles, the orchestra travels to various neighborhoods in Cologne to perform concerts in senior living facilities. Just as varied as the ensemble configurations are the concert programs. The musicians play classical works from their favorite repertoire and sing along with the audience.

Registration

This offer is free of charge. All interested Cologne-based facilities can apply for a concert via the online form starting from May 15, 2025.

Concert patrons

For those for whom the journey to the Philharmonie seems too far or difficult, and who would like to participate in cultural life, we have developed our Concert Patron Program. We bring together people who enjoy going to concerts with those who need support – a concert visit is much more enjoyable when shared. People who are paired with a companion purchase a subscription for three concerts. Concert patrons receive free admission.

Prices

€ 100 for 3 concerts in price group II

€ 55 for 3 concerts in price group IV
