Global Ode to Joy

Bringing light into these dark days is the idea behind #GlobalOdeToJoy. Together with the dancers from the compagnie MOUVOIR / Stephanie Thiersch and Klangmalerei.tv, we danced through Cologne to music by Ludwig van Beethoven, our contribution to this global project.

Beethoven saw his Ninth Symphony and its famous »Ode to Joy« as a journey from despair to joy. We are pleased to be  official partner of #GlobalOdeToJoy an international video project that aims to shed light on these dark days!

In collaboration with YouTube and Google Arts & Culture, cultural organizations, musicians, artists and influencers on six continents are joining forces to create and share videos that bring joy with #GlobalOdeToJoy.
