Ignacio Munoz Francés

Ignacio Muñoz Francés was born in Murcia (Spain) in 1995. He studied bassoon at the Superior School of Music of Barcelona (ESMUC) with Salvador Sanchís. In 2019, he completed his master studies with Tobias Pelkner in Detmold.
Various masterclasses with Mor Biron, Juan Sapina, Amrei Liebold, Guillermo Salcedo and Santiago Rios complemented his education.
He was a member of various young orchestras such as the Young Orchestra of the Netherlands, the Orchestra of the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival and the Young Symphony Orchestra of Madrid. He also collaborated with professional orchestras such as the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra (OBC), the Murcia Symphony Orchestra or the Orchestra of the "Palau de la Musica" from Barcelona. In 2018 he played orchestral internships in the Nordwestdeutschen Philharmonie.
