Violin – Orchestra Academy

Alexandra Arba is a Romanian-Belgian violinist who began playing the violin at the age of eight. In 2015, she was admitted to the Young Talent Class of Prof. Alissa Margulis and Benjamin Braude at the Royal Conservatory Antwerp and has been studying since 2018 at the University of Music and Dance Cologne. There, she was taught by Prof. Barnabás Kelemen, Prof. Nadja Nevolovitsch, and Prof. Ye-Eun Choi. As an active chamber musician, Alexandra has performed at numerous chamber music concerts and various chamber music festivals, including the Festival Academy Budapest and the Sonoro Festival in Montepulciano. In 2022, she won second prize at the 8th Chamber Music Competition of the University of Music and Dance Cologne. Currently, Alexandra is an academy member of the Gürzenich Orchestra Cologne and frequently performs as a guest musician with the Brussels Philharmonic in Belgium.
