Andreas Jakobs

Andreas Jakobs received his first horn lessons at the Hilden Music School before beginning his studies at the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf with Joachim Pöltl and later at the Cologne University of Music with Paul van Zelm. After a fixed-term contract with the Philharmonic Orchestra Hagen and an internship with the Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra, he has been a horn player in the Gürzenich Orchestra Cologne since the 2007/08 season.
