Antje Kaufmann

Antje Kaufmann studied viola at the Cologne University of Music with Professor Rainer Moog and chamber music with the Amadeus Quartet as well as the Alban Berg Quartet. During her studies, which she completed with the concert exam, she was a member of the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie and the orchestra of the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, among others. From 1993 to 1996, Antje Kaufmann was engaged with the Philharmonic Orchestra of the City of Dortmund. In 1996, she joined the Gürzenich Orchestra Cologne. She regularly performs with various chamber music ensembles. Since 2012, Antje Kaufmann has played in the orchestra of the Bayreuth Festival.
