Christoph Baumgartner

Christoph Baumgartner has been a percussionist in the Gürzenich Orchestra since 1993. He studied orchestral music with Hermann Gschwendtner and Franz Lang in Trossingen. He gained experience in the orchestra of the National Theatre Mannheim, in the Young German Philharmonic, and through reinforcement engagements with many orchestras such as the WDR Symphony Orchestra. He has also acquired extensive knowledge in other musical genres such as jazz, rock, brass music, and contemporary music.
