Daniel Dangendorf

Daniel Dangendorf studied violin as a scholarship holder of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation at the music conservatories in Cologne and Düsseldorf with Gorjan Košuta and Michael Gaiser. After several engagements with the Gürzenich Orchestra Cologne, the Beethoven Orchestra Bonn, the Duisburg Philharmonic, and the Wuppertal Symphony Orchestra, Daniel Dangendorf has been a member of the first violins of the Gürzenich Orchestra since the 2017/18 season. As a chamber musician, he has recently focused especially on the rare duo repertoire for violin and guitar, together with the guitarist Thomas Hofer.
