Dylan Naylor
Dylan Naylor was admitted as a young student to the music universities in Cologne, studying with Peter Rosenberg, and in Düsseldorf, studying with Michael Gaiser, even before completing his high school diploma. He continued his studies at the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre, earning his diploma under Albrecht Breuninger. He took chamber music and master classes with Wolfram Christ as well as with the Alban Berg and Guarneri Quartets. From 2002 to 2011, Dylan Naylor served as principal first violin with the Philharmoniker Hamburg, and since September 2011, he has held the same position with the Gürzenich Orchestra Cologne. Dylan Naylor has also made a name for himself in the field of electronic music. He has released several tracks in collaboration with international DJs and performs live with his electric violin in clubs ranging from London to Ibiza.
