Gerhard Reuber

Gerhard Reuber began his musical education at the age of eight in his local music club, where he also received his first French horn lessons. During his four years of service in the German Armed Forces, initially in the training music corps and later as first horn player in the staff music corps of the Bundeswehr, he took lessons from Theo Molberg (Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf) and Erich Penzel (Cologne University of Music). Immediately afterwards, he was engaged by the orchestra of the National Theatre Mannheim. Since 1986, he has been a member of the Gürzenich Orchestra Cologne.
