Greta Bruns

Greta Bruns studied double bass with Detmar Kurig at the Hochschule für Musik Köln, Aachen campus, where she graduated with a diploma in 2007. She gained her first orchestral experience during her studies as an intern with the Aachen Symphony Orchestra, the Stuttgart Philharmonic, and the SWR Symphony Orchestra Baden-Baden and Freiburg, as well as being a member of the European Union Youth Orchestra. She held temporary contracts with the Oldenburg State Orchestra and the Bremen Philharmonic before joining the Gürzenich Orchestra Cologne as a permanent member in 2008.
