Markus Lenzing

Markus Lenzing was born in Wuppertal and studied trombone at the Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf with Eckhard Treichel. He completed his internship at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein in Duisburg. From 1996 to 1998, he was engaged at the Tiroler Landestheater in Innsbruck. Afterwards, Markus Lenzing joined the Gürzenich-Orchester Köln as deputy principal trombonist. The Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf appointed him as a lecturer for trombone and brass chamber music. In addition, Markus Lenzing works as a studio musician, composer, arranger, and choir conductor.
