Martina Horejsi-Kiefer

Martina Horejsi-Kiefer received her education from Barbara Westphal at the Lübeck University of Music, from Yossi Gutman at the Joseph Haydn Conservatory in Eisenstadt, Austria, and from Hartmut Rohde at the University of the Arts in Berlin. After completing her studies, she initially took up a teaching position at the University of the Arts Berlin. As a soloist, she performed with the Radio Chamber Orchestra Cologne and Camerata Kiel. Since 2002, she has been the principal violist of the Gürzenich Orchestra. In addition to her orchestral work, she regularly plays in various chamber music ensembles and is the violist of the Rubin Quartet.
