Nathalie Streichardt
Nathalie Streichardt studied at the Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf with Ida Bieler (member of the Melos Quartet), where she graduated with distinction in 1998. As a scholarship holder of the London Guildhall School of Music, she continued her studies with David Takeno. She is a prizewinner of various competitions and a scholarship recipient of the “Stiftverband für die deutsche Wissenschaft” and “Villa Musica.” Since 1999, Nathalie Streichardt has been a member of the Gürzenich Orchestra. In addition to her orchestral work, she is active in various chamber music ensembles. She is a founding member of the Danaë Ensemble and has played in the renowned Rubin Quartet since 2009. Furthermore, she holds a teaching position for violin and subject didactics at the Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf.
