Sarah Aeschbach

Sarah Aeschbach was born in Montreux, Switzerland, and began violin lessons at the age of five. She initially studied violin with Tibor Varga in Sion, then viola with Bruno Giuranna in Cremona and Wilfried Strehle in Berlin, where she completed her studies at the Universität der Künste. During her studies, she was a member of the Pacific Music Festival and the Verbier Festival Orchestra. She also participated in masterclasses with Rainer Moog and Hartmut Rohde. Professionally, her path first led her to the Munich Philharmonic and later to Antwerp. Since 2011, Sarah Aeschbach has been a member of the Gürzenich Orchestra Cologne
