On concert days, the box office at Cologne’s Philharmonic Hall opens 90 minutes before the concert begins, while the foyer opens an hour before. Please note that some Gürzenich Orchestra concerts do not take place in Cologne’s Philharmonic Hall. For all other venues, please inform yourself ahead of time on our website.
Schoolchildren, students, trainees, federal volunteers (BFDler) and those on a voluntary social year (FSJler) (aged up to 28), holders of a valid Cologne Pass, and recipients of assistance benefits (Leistungen nach dem SGB II) will receive, upon showing proof, 50% discount when purchasing individual tickets for Subscription Concerts 1–12, and for the following special concerts at Cologne’s Philharmonic Hall: Gala Concert, Benefit Concert and Passion Concert. Chamber music concerts are excluded from discounts. Holders of a JULEICA and an honorary office card will receive 50% discount on all subscription concerts on Monday and Tuesday.
Wheelchair users or severely disabled persons with 100% disability or with a B in their disability pass receive free admission to all concerts upon showing proof and depending on availability. The attendant person of a wheelchair occupant user or of a severely disabled person will also receive a complimentary admission ticket if the letter B is noted in the disability pass. You can get admission tickets at advance booking offices and at the box office.
Please note that only one discount can be claimed at any time. Proof of eligibility is to be presented voluntarily when purchasing the ticket and at the entrance.

In the concert
Pre-concert talks for our concerts at Cologne’s Philharmonic Hall take place one hour (symphony concerts) or 30 minutes (chamber music concerts) before the beginning of each concert.
You can buy programmes for all concerts played by the Gürzenich Orchestra on the day of the concert. These are available for download online already ca. five days before the concert. Here you will find an overview of all programme booklets available for the current season.
Audio and video recordings
For legal reasons, audio and video recordings are not permitted at any time. The Gürzenich Orchestra reserves the right to produce and disseminate audio and video recordings of individual concerts. By using the concert ticket, the concertgoer declares his consent to the production and a possible dissemination of his or her image in media in conjunction with such a recording.
Your advantages as a subscriber
There are numerous possible ways to experience Gürzenich Orchestra’s concerts with a subscription. In so doing, you will profit from a range of benefits around attending the concerts.
A regular seat
With the Grand Subscription, as well as with the smaller subscriptions, you will experience all the concerts from your personal regular seat at Cologne’s Philharmonic Hall.
You save up to 30% over purchasing individual tickets. In addition, you save the 10% advance booking charge.
Holders of a Grand Subscription or Small Subscription each receive a voucher for 40% (Grand Abo) or 20% (Small Abo) for selected Gürzenich Orchestra concerts.
Before and after the concert, your subscription is valid as a public transport ticket in the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Sieg (Rhine-Sieg Transport Association).

Ordering and change requests
Subscription orders for the new season are accepted throughout the year. A change in seat or in the type of subscription is only possible in the new season. Change requests must be submitted by 30 April of the current season.
Subscription term & cancellation
A subscription is valid for one concert season and will automatically be extended by another season unless the Ticket Service of the stages of the City of Cologne receives termination in writing by 30 April of the current season. Subscription cards will be sent out after receipt of payment.

Subscriptions can be transferred to third parties. Discounted subscriptions can only be transferred to persons with the corresponding authorisation for the discount.
Venues & directions
Most concerts take place in Cologne Philharmonie. Informations about other venues will be shown on this website in connection with the concerts announced for these venues.
Travelling by car
If you are planning to travel by car, you can use the Philharmonie car park for the special price of € 2.50 for up to one and a half hours before and for up to two hours after the concert: Just present your concert ticket and carpark ticket to the carpark attendant or pay at the ticket machine.
Follow the signs to Dom/Hauptbahnhof, as soon as you are in the city centre, signs show you the way to the concert hall.
Travelling with Public transport
Situated approx. 5 minutes on foot from Cologne's main railway station, the Kölner Philharmonie is easily reached using public transport: Furthermore, your Philharmonie admission ticket also serves as your return ticket when travelling on the regional Rhine-Sieg (VRS) transport network.
