Toshiko Tamayo

Toshiko Tamayo, born in Kassel, studied violin with Prof. Michael Gaiser at the Robert Schumann Academy in Dusseldorf. She received further impulses in master classes with, among others, Prof. Christiane Hutcap, Prof. Thomas Brandis and Prof. Igor Ozim. During her studies she already began to play in various orchestras. This was followed by temporary contracts with the Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra, the Duisburg Philharmonic Orchestra and the Gürzenich Orchestra Cologne. Since 2010 Toshiko Tamayo is a permanent member of the 1st violins of the Gürzenich Orchestra.
